Australia's law enforcement have called off the operation for a young boy who has been disappeared in the remote area for approximately three weeks, after renewed operations failed to find any traces of the child.

Chronology of Events

The child was spotted enjoying himself outside his family property on a isolated sheep station close to Yunta, about 186 miles from Adelaide, on September 27th.

His family member left him alone for about half an hour before returning, only to realize the youngster gone, prompting one of the most extensive comprehensive missions in South Australian records.

Present Status

Law enforcement - who do not believe criminal activity - say they will carry on looking into, but that the matter has become a "recovery mission".

Last week, authorities temporarily wound down the search, only to resume it on recently alongside 80 defense staff.

"Spokesperson the commissioner said authorities were searching a more extensive area based on revised assessments from survivability and operation professionals, rather than any recent developments."

Mission Obstacles

On recently, police announced that the latest hunt had not uncovered any evidence of Gus.
