Ruben Amorim - seen receiving consolation after May's European final loss - notes he is satisfied by the investor's long-term backing but emphasized that tomorrow is uncertain in soccer.
Manchester United head coach the Portuguese coach feels it's significant the investor publicly shared his future vision - but says nothing is certain about the next day in soccer, never mind three seasons.
During a discussion with The Times last week, Ratcliffe stated it might require the head coach a three-year period to produce meaningful results at Old Trafford.
Arriving during a time when the coach's tenure has been facing examination after a prolonged run of poor performances, the comments helped quell some of the immediate pressure.
But, speaking before the hundredth encounter with old rivals Liverpool at their home ground, Amorim emphasized how tomorrow is difficult to forecast in the beautiful game.
"It's certainly beneficial to receive that message but he communicates to me continuously, sometimes with a message following matches - but recognize, I realize and Ratcliffe understands, that football is not like that," he stated.
"The crucial element is the following fixture. Regardless of investors, you cannot control the future in the sport."
Top executive Omar Berrada has admitted it has taken significantly extended periods for the manager to acclimate to the Premier League subsequent to his appointment from Sporting in November than anyone imagined.
The Red Devils have secured 10 victories in 34 Premier League matches during Amorim's tenure. They haven't managed two league games in a row and didn't complete a matchday in the current term above ninth position.
The dire statistics are testing faith in Amorim among the Old Trafford faithful heading into a stretch of fixtures their club has been awful in for the past two seasons.
The manager stated he isn't experiencing the uncertainty inside the club at their training facility and is firm nothing compares to the stress he applies to the squad - and in some senses, he would choose Sir Jim not to be trying to create tranquility because he is concerned about the influence it may create on the squad.
"It isn't merely a thing that people talk about, I feel it daily," he remarked. "It's truly positive to hear it because it assists our supporters to understand the leadership know it is going to take a while.
"However simultaneously, I dislike it because it creates an impression that we own time to work things out. I don't wish for that impression in our team.
"The pressure I put on the squad or on myself is so much bigger [than that from outside]. In the sport, especially in big clubs, you need to prove your worth each weekend."
