The star midfielder Operated in a high role down the right while also did plenty of the hard yards. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance and mishit an attempt over. Withdrawn in the closing stages for Rogers, his competition, after being booked. 7
Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity before halftime, his strike well saved from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate staying deep, it fell to him to offer an outlet on the right although his balls from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted late in the match. Six
Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring two more strikes at international level. His first a trademark poacher’s finish while the second an excellent header having drifted away away from the opposition. Now 32, his form is unwavering and the side have every chance next summer with him leading the line. Eight
Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening after being played in from a teammate however Strakosha made the save. Rashford had a greater influence in his place. 5/10
